I hired ACME ART after receiving several quotes from other contractors and meeting the owner (Doug) which seemed professional and trustworthy. In the beginning everything seemed fine, but as time went on problems started to arise. The owner intially told me that it will only take 5 days to complete the job, but then weeks started going by and Doug the owner kept saying he will get it done this week. I called him everyday for the past 5 days on the job and each day he says, will be done tomorrow. It has been 6 weeks now and the project is still not done...Also, the owner told me he specializes in cabinet re-staining but the staining of the cabinet turned out horrible. His workers left gel stain on the wood and did not wipe or sand it off, so the gel crusted on top of the wood. So, the wood now looks rough and crusty everywhere. As of today, i fired ACME Art and will be contracting another painter to finish the job.
