We had purchased our web site service through Advance Access. On 9/24/09, I spoke with Andrew Farias and cancelled our service. On 9/24/09,(the same day we cancelled our service) there was a draft from Advance Access that had a transaction date and a post date of 9/24/09 and an additional $59.95 drafted out of our account.
I called to dispute this charge on 10/26/09 which was the day I received our credit card bill. Who ever I spoke with was going to check into the charge and get back to me. He never did.
On 10/29/09, I called again and talked to Alex Cooney. I was told that I would have to speak to Mike Lalonde. I called him on 10/29/09 and left a message. My call was not returned. I again called on 11/2/09 and left a message. To date my call has not been returned.
Advance Access bills in advance. The $59.95 taken out on 9/24 would pay for the days from 9/24 through 10/24. I would be paying for a full month after I had cancelled the service. This is unfair, unacceptable and dishonest. In addition, I have tried repeatedly to resolve this on my own, but have not been able to due to Advance Access employees’ lack of response.
Their customer NO-service is appalling and I would not do business with this company again. Even in a down economy, they have no desire to return customer calls, no desire to listen to a customer problem, and no desire to resolve a customer dispute. I would certainly hate to deal with them ever again.
