Review 11/28/2010
|
The company was offering a 30 day trail for their website. I was continuously billed after the 30 day trial for 5 months.
I called on 11/23/2010 to request a full refund for the 5 months past my 30 day trail for $59.95. The amount requested for a refund is $299.75
I called on 11/23/2010 and spoke with Christopher Daniele, then Gladys Guardado, then Phil Castillo. Each person had more authority than the other respectively. I had asked for a refund for the five months past my 30 day trail and was told that they could not because I was half way through my contract. I explained to Phil Castillo that I only agreed to a 30 day trail, and nothing more. He then told me that I never called to cancel the 30 day trail, and because I didn’t call to cancel my 30 day trial, it then became a full one year contract. I told him this was not what how it was explained to me by the salesman over the phone. I explained to Phil Castillo that I never chose or registered a permanent domain name for my temporary website. He told me that customers routinely tweak their website while paying their membership monthly fees. I explained to Phil Castillo that I never had a permanent website to tweak. I simply wanted a 30 day trail and nothing more. After the thirty day trial ended I would receive emails from Advanced Access stating "You're ready to complete the final and most important step of your welcome process. It's time to select the domain name (website address) of your new website!" I simply thought that Advanced Access was trying to get me to sign up with them for a full website. I ignored the emails as they said nothing about the fact that Advanced Access was already billing me for a 12 month contract. I never used their product past the 30 day trial. The customer service representatives were more aggressive as I moved up the company hierachy to resolve my dispute. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH ADVANCESED ACCESS!
