There is significant evidence that this company operates under numerous aliases in an effort to mask the long history of complaints regarding customer service, or lack thereof, misleading customers, defrauding customers, and refusing to honor their own ambiguous policies. This company has operated as Advanced P.C., Advanced PC, 2020pc, APR Computers, Inc., and there may very well be other aliases out there. There is inconsistent contact and corporate information posted to various merchant profile and review sites. There are numerous complaints regarding the company that are filed under various aliases. The company currently has a website at www.2020pc.com and appears to have operated other websites www.apr-usa.net and www.advancedpc.com to name a couple, through which they have either not fully delivered on orders, provided false and misleading information, or refused to issue a refund for defective products and erroneous orders. Buyers: Beware!!!! Not only are they deceptive, they are also rude, pompous, and insolent.
My personal experience:
In July 2011, I ordered and received a defective laptop from 2020pc.com. To date, September 2011, I have had to involve my credit card company to get 2020pc.com to comply with their own return/refund policies. They submitted to my credit card company a doctored document of the various e-mails that were exchange in my effort to resolve the matter amicably with 2020pc. 2020pc (aka Advanced PC aka Advanced P.C. aka APR Computers, Inc.) omitted all the e-mails in which they were condescending and pompous to make their case look stronger. To date, 2020pc.com continues to refuse to refund my money for the defective laptop they sent me. They've deployed every imaginable tactic to make the process as frustrating as possible, which I believe they are doing in hopes that I will simply surrender and walk away from the $1,890 they've effectively stolen from me (but I refuse to give up)!
BBB: If you'd like to verify my claims I can easily submit my order reference number and pages of documents that I have gathered from various websites clearly showing the pattern of fraud and lies this company has accumulated over the years.
