Went into Bormans with a friend (Widow Lady) to purchase a pickup for myself and purchase a car for her. Worked with a salesman named Ralph. The car she selected was a new Ford Focus. A price of $15999 was hanging on the windshield. We ask Ralph if we could buy her car for any less and he said let me talk to my boss (Junior). He came back and said if she was to finance a minimum of $7500 with Ford Motor Co at 0% interest and no payoff penality she could get a $500 additional rebate. We talked it over and decieded to do it. Credit was approved. We came back to close the deal and when the finance papers came out the interest rate was 2.9%. Salesman said he screwed up the 0% was not available on this car. Finance said would only amount to $30 if paid of in 90 days. Then the amount to be financed was an additional $500. They said the rebate was already on the sticker price. We left upset. Junior call the next morning and said he had made a big mistake and felt bad, if he could get the overall boss to approve would we go through with the deal if they took the $500 off. I told he it took a big man to admit he was wrong and said yes. Junior said he would call back that afternoon and even take the paperwork to the lady. He called back that afternoon and said he could not do anything. I was shocked!! Do not do business with this company.
