I got 3 wisdom teeth pulled out on 10/17/08. I checked my insurance and found out that they did not bill the insurance for the anesthesia. First, they could not find my chart then I was told that it takes a month once they send it the insurance co. I called a month later the insurance co. had not received it until one of the representive called and had them fax it over. They said that the insurance co. had told them that it was not coved so they did not fill a claim. Does that sound stupid or what. You would think they would send it anyways to get a denied claim in writing not verbally.Make sure what you are being billed for and what you are not. Always question the billing part and have an idea of what your insurance plan covers. Ask other people.
