Buyer Beware of Cyberpowerpc

It took a few weeks to get the computer I ordered from Cyberpowerpc. This was not a problem, as I was expecting it. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the computer. They paid for the shipping to send it back (great). They returned it to me after the motherboard was replaced, but it had the same problem with the sleep mode. I mentioned this to the tech on the phone. They may have replaced the motherboard, but they did not fix the problem. I had to reboot the computer to get it out of sleep. Sometimes it would shut down on its own, at other times it would power up on its own. I asked for a refund. They received the computer on the 11th of May. It is now the 30th. Still no refund. The legal limit for a refund after receipt is 7 business days. If I do get a refund, they are talking about all of the expenses I will still have to pay, including original shipping. They should have got the computer right. If not the first time (3.5 weeks inc shipping), the second time (2 weeks inc shipping). I should be the one getting paid for this experience, not them. They said that they are waiving the restocking fee. After all this, they should be waiving more of the expense. If I do not see my rebate by tomorrow, I will be contacting CA State Attorney, BBB, etc. This is ridiculous.

We do apologize for the experience you encountered and for any delay with the refund process. Normally, refunds may take 7-10 business days from the date when the computer arrives at CyberPower for refund policy. This should have been stated in the email you received with RMA information. We apologize if it was not made clear over the phone with the representative. We do thank you for trying CyberPower and giving us the opportunity to have you as a customer.
