Lap Band Surgery

A little over two months ago I decided to have the lap band surgery. For well over 2 years, I researched the procedure, the product and many doctors. I decided it was time to start making appointments with three doctor's that I found to be highly regarded in the industry, Dr. Liu being one of them. I went to the first doctor and had a horrible experience that I decided that I wasn't going to have the surgery. After about 2 weeks I decided to call Dr. Liu's office for a consultation -- THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! Not only was Dr. Liu patient and thorough, his staff is just as good. Not at one point did Dr. Liu rush me or not answer a question. He spent well over an hour with me on my first visit. I decided to then go for a second opinion on the East Coast -- this physician, who was head of bariatric surgery as a well know university hospital, agreed that the surgery was the correct one for me. When I mentioned Dr. Liu's name this physician told me to go back to LA and go schedule the surgery with him -- that he is one of the most well respected physician's in this field and has great outcomes. I returned to LA, scheduled the surgery and had it done on October 3, 2011. HANDS DOWN, THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. The surgery was easy, the care was excellent and I have been losing weight at a steady speed. Dr. Liu has given me my life back -- I am active, I am social and I am living life again.
