Review 3/10/2010

On Feb. 22 2010 I did read everything including the fine print for the advanced cleanse, now I ordered acai berry from a sister company and had no issue but the advance cleanse said if you do not call and cancel in 14 days from the initial .99 order you will be billed 169.95. So, on March 1 (8days) I called spoke with someone in customer service, explained my issue that my husband found out that I did this and if we got charged he was going to divorce me. So, the customer service operator understood gave me a cancellation number and I verified that I would not be charged and she assured me I would not be charged. So, I told my husband, he was happy. So, on March 9,2010 to my suprise my husband emailed me at work (and I could read the anger) that there was a charge and he was MAD. So he called the 866 customer service number and the rep gave him the cancelation number (so you know it was in their records) and told him there was nothing that she could do and he should go to a website and dispute it because I did cancel on time just not on the website. There was no written documention on where to cancel and when I called and cancelled why did the rep not tell me than. So, today I went to my bank on lunch and filed for a fraudulant transaction and hopefully they can go after them.... I am now understanding not to get scammed into one of these. But my thought was to get the advance cleanse, see if it works than make the decision to order and join not to have it forced upon me because now I don't want it even if it does work.
