Horrible experience

I wouldn't use this company again! First, the quote they gave me over the phone was significantly less than what they charged me despite me providing measurements of all our items. The quote on the phone was $6660.00 but when they loaded our stuff, the quote ended up being $8200. Again, over the phone I gave them the exact things we would be moving and the measurements.
They knocked a big chip out of the house when moving our furniture out that I had to patch. In addition, there was a heavy dresser that one mover moved on his own. He ended up dropping it down the stairs.
The contracted company associated with Long Distance Movers that delivered were nice. They had us mark down everything that was damaged and missing. We took pictures of everything as a lot of things were damaged. Our power washer never showed up - I know it was loaded because the guys who packed up had us mark down what got packed into the truck.. They almost gave us someone else's boxes of clothes. I called them twice on all this. They said they would make everything right. I STILL have not heard back from them. I have left several messages and they never reply back. Everyone I've talked to were very nice until things came up missing and damaged. I would estimate $2500 in damages.
Do not use this company! We moved January 2016. It is now the middle of April and we're still trying to get this sorted.
