Nuance advertises a price online for Power PDF of $69.99.

Click on the buy now button and the price is $79.99 plus tax. Call the customer support line and it turns out it's another company that can't see what you see (apparently they have no internet in their call center). They give you another number for the online store. Call that number and they complain that they're not Nuance, either - so they can't honor the price and you should call Nuance. The number they give you is another branch of the non-Nuance customer service shell game. You hang up and try calling Nuance directly, but, of course, there is no direct number. All the customer service, support, contact, etc. is outsourced to some Asian sub-continent whose call center people really only understand that it's not their fault.
