Pride a/c and appliances

I was told by ECM that my a/c was broken and out of freon. They refused to put freon in the a/c as they said the unit was completely empty. I gave them a deposit, on a $3000 roof a/c.
Suddenly the a/c started cooling so I called Pride, for a second opinion. I spoke to Mr. Howard and he not only sent an a/c man that same day... he didn't charge me a penny. The mechanic said the a/c was full of freon and working properly.
I immediately called ECM to cancel, and report what had happened, but they never returned my phone call nor returned my check.
Mr. Howard and Pride saved me $3000 and a big headache.
