This is not the sears service I am used to. It appears they have outsourced their customer service department for online purchases to other countries and for such an America name like Sears I find that disturbing.I purchased merchandise on Sears.com. It was being shipped by a third party vendor. I paid extra for expedited delivery. On the day of my expected delivery I called to track the package. No one could find any tracking information for me and suggested that I just wait. Three days away from a holiday in which the merchandise was needed I could NOT just wait. I insisted that someone find a tracking number, locate my package and put me at ease. It was nearly an hour and several reps later when someone finally researched my order enough to know that my order was sitting in a third party vendor's warehouse and would not ship for another week. I was also informed that the vendor could not be reached and there was nothing any Sears employee could do to expedite my order as it was out of their hands. After this news I immediately cancelled my order. About a week later I received an shipping notification alerting me that my package had shipped. I was worried that I wouldn't be receiving my promised refund so I called to get clarification. It was then that I was informed my order was never cancelled. I cancelled it AGAIN and was to to reldfuse the shipment when it arrived. I was then promised my refund 3-4 business days following the receipt of the package (which took over a week to get back to them). It has been over 4 business days, I am still without a refund and after talking to the 10th rep who had to dig for notes I am told it's going to be another 4 business days. Refunds should not take nearly a month to receive.
