Buyer Beware

My husband and I bought a beautiful Balinese from this cattery. At age 9 his liver has failed and has a tumor which our vet said was hereditary. Siamese cats are prone to these.
When I emailed the owners to tell them:
Message: I bought a beautiful Balinese from you 9 years ago. His name is Milo. He has a tumor on his liver and his liver is not functioning. The doctor gave him a pain shot and fluids so he can be with us a couple more days. The doctor said it was hereditary, not environmental. My heart is breaking. Please don’t breed any more sick kitties. Please.

Thank you for your email - considering Milo's circumstances - and yes, 9 years is way too short a time to share with a trusted friend. Bea lost her personal cat Chauncey this year - so we feel for you.
Bea is taking care of her Mom - so I have been wearing more hats around here.
I did an email search here using your name, email address, and phone number - this is the first and only correspondence I have from you - so I am perplexed.

I am so sorry for you folks and I am sure Bea is also - as to it being hereditary, I don't know, I have not heard of this one in the 38 years we have been doing together.
Do they say the same thing with cancer and humans?
