I purchased the 56" DLP thru SNBC. I also purchased the warranty and after 3 months of use the lamp goes out. Then I find out that the lamp is not covered under the warranty. It cost nearly $400 to replace the lamp and 3 months to receive it. Four months later it goes out again. This time I contacted Vivitek for a full refund. I was asked by someone it upper managment to try another lamp. To purchase it and I would be reimbursed and it happened but that lamp also went out in 4 months. Now Vivitek is telling me they have no record of me on file. Will not let me talk to anyone that can make a decision. I have file a complaint with the California Attorney General and the BBB. Vivitek is sailing poor quality televisions at high prices and with poor customer service. I'm also writing SNBC to tell them I will never purchase anything through them again.
