I purchased a Vivitek TV from HSN.com. Our TV was supposed to be delivered before the SuperBowl 2007 and it was received late February 2007. It took 6 requests to receive the rebate 6 months later from Vivitek. Recently, the t.v. needed a replacement lamp. I placed the order and waited for the lamp to arrive. After noticing that I had not been charged the $212 for the lamp, I contacted Vivitek only to find out the lamp was backordered with no solid delivery date. I have not been able to use my t.v. for the last 2 months. Since I called with several complaints about the delay, Vivitek sent me a refurbished lamp. I installed the refurbished lamp and now all the sudden the cooling fan needs to be replaced. This company has offered poor service. After researching the web, I found out several other purchasers that have had worse problems. For any big purchases, I will make sure to do research before I buy. As of now, I sit in front of a large black blank screen and now have to find someone to come out replace the cooling fan. Hopefully, I will be able to use my t.v. soon.
