spread the word: beware of eBridge scam
|
I am another victim of eBridge..
1/ They failed to produce the agreement where I allegedly agreed to their terms and charges and payments methods
2/ They do 3rd party billing because victims did not agree to anything, yet they are not aware of such services until see the charges
3/ It is amazing, but not surprising, to see how active they are trying to clear their names, filling up search-engines results with their own links to hide all the negative publicity and recruiting few (and rare) happy customers to write up positive review
4/ It is sorry that our reviews and notes here will not protect others and help them hang up on callers from eBridge
SHAME ON EBRIDGE

Business's response - on 1/4/2012
|
To address the claims by Timur O., we would like to share details from our response to the complaint he filed with the BBB:
On 10/6/11 our sales rep spoke with Timur Okcuoglu, who affirmed as being over the age of 18 and having the authority to make business decisions regarding Internet listings, telephone account, and services for the business. During the conversation, Mr. Okcuoglu authorized and agreed to our online marketing service for the initial month with the understanding that automatic billing would begin at the end of the 30-day trial period, to be billed on the monthly business telephone bill.
We spoke with Mr. Okcuoglu again in a follow up call on 10/14/11. The account manager reminded Mr. Okcuoglu of our service and assisted him with his business listing submission. There was also reconfirmation of his trial ending date and billing method. In addition, multiple letters regarding his account were sent during the trial period. Our toll-free number is provided in all communications.
Should any client change his or her mind before the rendering of their initial billing, no billing will occur, and they are under no obligation of any kind. We are very clear about when we bill and how we bill accounts. Mr. Okcuoglu contacted us to cancel the account on 12/13/11; after the trial period had ended.
We provided a real service and incurred real costs in providing service to Mr. Okcuoglu’s business, which included launching an online marketing campaign that propels our client’s internet listings to the first page of organic search results on over 125 search engines.
We enter into a valid agreement and provide a legitimate service with each of our client. We do perform audio audits of sales calls with disputing clients present on the line and answer concerns clients may have. We invite Mr. Okcuoglu to contact our Customer Service Department to schedule an appointment before claiming that we failed to produce the agreement.
