I ordered a Macbook from gainsaver.com with a two year warranty. When I received the laptop I noticed a small black spot on the screen. I called costumer service. They said that I could send it back and they would repair it; however, you must use only UPS. The shipping costed me 40 dollars. I didn't hear back from them for 3 weeks. After reading some online forums about their poor costumer service, I called today to check on the progress. I waited 20 minutes. Luckily I took the advice of another costumer and recorded the conversation to an MP3 on my phone. Finally someone answered, I asked who I was speaking to, they did not give me a name. They said "costumer service." They then told me there is nothign they could do because I damaged the computer. It had been dropped they said. This was absolutely not true. I left it on my desk all day and only used it while it sat ont he desk. They then said sorry, nothing we can do for you. We have thrown your computer away. WHAT??? I could have still used the damaged laptop if they weren't going to fix it. I basically just threw 700 dollars away. I asked to speak to their supervisor. They then hung up. After researching the company, I have found out that they are not licensed to sell computers. I have contacted my attorney.
