Worse than dell

Their customer service boasts 24/7 life-time support. This is false. I don't recommend Origin anymore than I recommend dell. Their diagnostics for troubleshooting composes of 3 programs. When the results don't fit into their cookie-cutter solutions, they instantly recommend refunding or depot repairing the laptop. The catch? You pay for the shipping, or face a 15% reduction in refund. This is done despite the fact that they sent you a problematic product... Aside from poor troubleshooting they even tried to deny me service. During calls, I'd routinely be put on hold. They claimed I didn't want their help, and blocked my calls. Finally they insisted on team viewer. To ensure privacy, I had all the programs they wanted up, running. Despite this, the technician headed right for my browser and settings. Unbelievable. They couldn't show me where their policy allowed technicians to deny the service, but they did it anyway. Their 24/7 service is a fraud, and google can do better.
I don't even want to discuss their unreliable ordering service. They have options to expedite your computer, and they promise estimates. But their open interpretation of the word "estimates" takes it too far. They started to push my dates back until it was 2 weeks off. I had to speak with the head salesperson and that's what it took to ensure my product was received in time.
All this trouble for a 3400 USD order is too much. I expect this juvenile behavior from companies such as Dell, but the truth is that even Dell wasn't this poor. To really summarize my experience: unreliable products, unreliable service, and unreliable. There's no 0 star option, so here it is: 1 star.
