Dose anyone know how to dispute a debt on your credit report? I have sent a company(Resurgent Capital Services) a letter of dispute,and have asked them to validate the debt by sending me proof of the original debtor within 30 days. The only thing I have received is what seems to be a boges letter from the collector stating it is now owned by a company called LVNV Funding LLC. Why the change after the letter of dispute? What they claim I owe is outrages and every day there is an interest of $.30, So my question is what do you do after you send a letter of dispute and they send you another letter that leads you no where. What do I do next... Can anyone please give me some advice?
