My wife and myself where considering going through Atuo Relief Group to lower our car payment but once we gave then $199.00 for the down payment they told us we didn't qualify because we hadn't made our sixthe car payment and this was on March 11 2010. Once we told told them we where not interested at that time we have been waiting on our refund so does anybody have any ideals for me so that we get our refund?

Hi Robert,

The company has a D- rating with the BBB and a 2 star rating on TrustLink. Did you sign a contract stating the down payment was non-refundable, or did the company promise you in writing that it was refundable? Depending on the circumstances, you may wish to try filing a complaint with the BBB and see if you can get a response or filing in Small Claims Court.
