Terry D, i gave $2500.00 dollars to consumer advocates group last Feb. 22 2011. On April consumer Advocates Group Staff ( Todd Goodman) told me been approved the modification, but he didnt know any details. Jenna Supposedly calling me back and give me detials, guess what" when Jenna called me she asked me if Lender sent me any form or paperworks. Also she asked me more paperworks and i did sent it to her. Again nothing but balogna. In email i been getting from Consumer Advocates Group are " file still processing". Today we got a called from my Lender and the information I got from them Consumer Advocates group never process any files. So today I called them and told Consumer Advocates Staff ( Jenna) I want my money back. And I also writing Attorney General of California and Better business Bureau about this.Bad Company

Its so funny to read these reviews. My experience was the exact opposite of Theresa's. I know it took a while and there were times when the bank wold lose paperwork but in all reality i cant complain one bit. I still live in my house because of them and i appreciate all their hard work!(espcially Jenna!)

Not a laughing matter when someone scam you with 2500.00, glad martin seems amused by it.For the last 5 months i been checking the status of my loan modification and same answer every month " file reviews"Hope to those people scammers got KARMA.

Terry D. first off i wanted to tell you that i too was once concerned about the reputation of this firm. I read so many mixed reviews of this firm. I then found out that this Teresa C. like Bill M. are both paid employees of The BBB. See the BBB is out to get companies like CAG because they wont pay their monthly membership fee so they hirer people like Bill M. and Teresa C. to post nasty reviews about a company so people wont sign up with their firm. By doing that, The BBB is forcing companies to sign up and pay a monthly fee to have a good reputation. I found that online by doing research on the BBB. If you google BBB on 20/20 and watch the interview of the Vice President of The BBB you will see everything i am saying is true. I trusted CAG and i am still living in my house. I guess you can say i am living proof! I got a great deal. Consumer Advocates did everything they told they would do. After some more research I see this "Bill M" character on every post. Did you work bro..? Come on, let it be. CAG is a GREAT FIRM!!!!
